Por los Caminos de La Mancha
Cuban artist Dominica Alcantara's latest collection is inspired on Don Quijote and Sancho Panza's adventurous path through La Mancha, a journey which the artist herself followed during her travels last year.
Dominica, as her friends and followers call her, is not only an example of an artist with a long legacy and tremendous sensibility, but also an incredible woman who never stops. Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, she spent her early youth and adolescence in the Canary Islands. In Miami, she taught in the Miami-Dade Public School System for 25 years.
She has exhibited in many venues in the United States and Spain to name a few, and has received numerous awards for her achievement in the arts. Her paintings reflect the enrichment and experiences of her life's long journey.
