Netherworld
Murdered
Torn limb from limb
The god was scattered across the earth
In a papyrus boat painted with pitch
The goddess weeps as she collects the pieces
(The river is a river of tears)
She connects the fragments of flesh
And intones great incantations
And as she chants, his wounds heal
And as she chants, his eyes open
-But what is this, my beloved husband?
Though thou hast come back, come to life once again
Thou shalt return from the netherworld nevermore
Tada Chimako
