Abyss
Across
each other stood the empty bed
sheets
entangled
pillows
on the floor
examining
the remains
our
mutual wounds under a microscope
thoughts
accumulating at hundred miles an hour
yet
silent
as
if the answer to our emptiness
was
found elsewhere.
