Cuban artist Salvador Lorenzo is a graduate of Cuba's famed Academia San Alejandro, and was a professor there for eleven years as well. He has been working in the Arts since 1968, and never stops creating. He has had a very rewarding career in Cuba, Spain, Mexico, Argentina and now in the USA.
This new exhibit takes Salvador back to his roots; "papel calado" or cut-out paper, as he calls it. This technique created by him while studying in San Alejandro brought him many accolades, and his work is in many important collections. For the first time in two years of being our exclusive artist, Zu Galeria has the honor of exhibiting this new collection using such technique.
